This document shows you how to
slow the flash of a turn signal due to a higher impedance
bulb. Due to significantly less amperage draw from our 360
bulbs, the factory flashing unit becomes more efficient,
increasing flashes per minute. A simple resistor paralleled
into the turn signal circuit increases resistance on the
circuit allowing factory flashing unit to operate at factory
speed

Open front hood, remove outer bulbs from stock head light
fixture(see photo). Install Vision X HID bulbs were stock
ones were (see image). Mount Starter Ballast on outer frame
horn of Prowler (see image) Make sure the length is OK from
ballast to bulb and not to short. You can use Self Tapping
screws, please add silicone to screw, it helps prevent the
screw from backing out under vibrations. Still check
occasionally.

Polaris Ranger installation instructions for HID retrofit
upgrade kit. Please note: This kit requires the use of
solder less connectors to factory loom “will not” plug into
factory harness. Remove factory Polaris bulbs, and replace
with Vision X HID bulbs (put a dab of silicone on outer lip
of bulb after installed). Mount each Vision X ballast to the

Installing HID bulbs in your 04-05 Rhino factory housing:
Remove from stock housing (unplug). Remove stock bulbs by
pushing in tabs inside housing next to bulb, bulb will pop
out. Be careful don’t break tabs

Mounting: Mount light securely; making sure bracket is
square with vehicle. Tighten 17m bolt on the bottom of the
bracket to 50 ft/lbs. This bolt will not be loosened to
adjust beam. Wiring: All electronics are internal so there
is no need to mount external ballasts. Each light has a
simple 2 wire hook up. Red being + 12v and black being –
12v. Lights should be wired to a switch through a relay with
a maximum of 2 lights per relay for optimum durability and
